Palm Appoints New Country Manager for Australia and New Zealand



SYDNEY, Australia, 7 February 2007 -- Palm Australasia Pty Limited today announced the appointment of Olivier Rozay as country manager for Australia and New Zealand. Rozay joined Palm’s Australasian operations in 2005 as wireless business development director for Australia and New Zealand and has more than 10 years’ experience in the telecommunications industry.

Rozay will be responsible for continuing Palm’s success in Australia and New Zealand, with a strong focus on developing new business in the region. This includes fostering close relationships with carriers and distributors, as well as channel sales.

Prior to Palm, Rozay held various positions in international business development at Palm and Handspring in the United States. He also has held positions at Alcatel in France and China, Globalstar in the United States and Brazil, and served in the Microelectronics R&D Centre for Toshiba in Japan.

Rozay holds a degree in electronic and computer science engineering studies from Institut Supérieur d’Electronique de Paris, France. He is fluent in English, French, Spanish, Portuguese and Mandarin.
