with Tungsten E2, Tungsten T3, Tungsten T5 and Zire 72 handhelds
only. Future handhelds may be compatible with this accessory;
check
www.Palm.com for

to download drivers
for the Wi-Fi Card by Palm.
Q: Will the Wi-Fi Card work with my company's wireless
LAN? A: Your organisation may use a number of security precautions
for its WLAN. The Wi-Fi Card by Palm includes a PPTP VPN
client for secure access to corporate networks, and it supports
WEP encryption with 64 or 128 bit keys. Third-party applications
may be available for IPSec connections; visit software.palm.com
to check availability. Please contact your organisation's
IT administrator for details and setup instructions.
Q: Can I use it internationally? A: The Wi-Fi Card by Palm operates in the Industry
Scientific and Medical (ISM) band and supports channels 1
through 11. In countries where channels 12 through 14 are
also used, you may encounter access points using these channels
and be unable to make a wireless connection. Contact the IT
administrator of the organisation where you plan to use the
Wi-Fi Card for more information.
Q: Does the Wi-Fi Card include
any flash memory? A: No. The Wi-Fi Card includes
the Wi-Fi radio only. There is no additional flash memory
in the card.
