Tungsten T3, Tungsten T5, and Zire 72 version posted November 29, 2004
Important
prerequisites for the Wi-Fi® Card by Palm® installer:
You must be installing on either a Tungsten E2,
Tungsten T3, Tungsten T5, or a Zire 72. The Wi-Fi
Card does not support other handhelds.
The Palm Wi-Fi card must be inserted during the
installation process for the installation to be completed
successfully.
You must have 5 MB of free memory on your supported
handheld to temporarily accommodate the installer.
See "How
do I know how much memory is available on my handheld? " and "How
do I free up memory on my handheld? " for more information.
Your battery must be fully charged. See "How
do I know if my handheld's battery is full? "
If your battery is not full or you do not have 5
MB of free memory, do NOT install the Wi-Fi Card
software onto your handheld.
You can return to the installation program at any
time once you have charged your handheld's battery
or removed programs to free up memory. The 5 MB
is needed only temporarily to accommodate the installer
program on your handheld. Once the Wi-Fi Card installation
is complete, the installer will automatically be deleted
from your handheld and the 5 MB will, once again, be
available for other programs.
