It's a smarter way to call.
-
It's a phone first. Even with a built-in QWERTY keyboard, the Palm® Treo 700wx smartphones are compact and comfortable. They fit perfectly in your hand, rest snugly against your ear, and slide right into your pocket until it's time to make your next call.

Call from the Today Screen.

When you make or receive a call, you stay right on your Today Screen. With the push of a button you can put a call on hold, activate the speakerphone, mute the call, answer call-waiting, and initiate a conference call. Even check your calendar or view an email2 while you're still on the phone. learn more -
Active call screen.
View the duration of the call, and the caller's name, number, and photo when available. No other Windows Mobile device makes managing your calls so simple. -
Dial by number.
Look up and dial contacts in an instant directly from the Today Screen by entering just a few letters of a contact's name, or their phone number, and pressing send. -
Use speed dial.
Simple speed-dialling is integrated directly into the Today Screen. Just turn on your smartphone and select the name you want to call using the 5-way navigator. Or dial using quick keys—hold down a letter and the phone number assigned to that key will be automatically dialled. If nobody answers, a simple press and hold of the speed dial lets you select an alternate number, send a text message2, or send an email instead2. -
Dial by photo.
If the contact you're calling has a photo associated with it, you can create a Photo Speed Dial, making it even easier to find the person you want to call by simply glancing at your display. -
Dial right from an application.
If you're viewing an SMS, document file, or email with a phone number in it, just select and press send to automatically dial the number. There's no need to copy and paste the phone number or try to memorize it on the spot. -
Use the dial pad.
Use the thumbable dial pad integrated into the built-in keyboard. With its "smile" shape and small, compact size, the keyboard makes it easy to reach every number with just one hand. And with the backlight, you can dial a number in the dark. Or dial any number quickly and easily by tapping the onscreen dial pad with your finger or stylus. -
Manage voicemail with ease.

Stay on top of all your voicemail accounts with a consistent set of on-screen controls. Set up your voicemail once and never have to set it up again. The user friendly icons make it easy for you to listen to voicemail, save or delete messages, or skip to the next message—all with the same, simple controls. So you don't have to remember whether you have to press "3" or "9" to save a message for any given account. -
Create video ringtones.

With the new Contacts application in Windows Mobile 5.0, it's a breeze to associate ringtones with individual contacts, so you know who's calling before you even look at your display. Even create fun video ringtones—a Palm innovation on Windows Mobile 5.0. With the ease of a pull-down menu, you can assign a unique ringtone to your family, another to your best friend, and others to your colleagues. With Palm's Sounds application, create more unique ringtones by downloading polyphonic audio and video files 3. Even create new live voice sounds and assign them to Messaging, Reminder, and Phone notifications. -
Assign photos to Caller ID.
As soon as your Treo 700wx smartphone rings, you'll know who's calling by the picture that appears on your display. That's because you can assign photos to each of your contacts. Take a picture of your contact with the built-in 1.3 megapixel digital camera4 or easily import an existing photo. With Picture Caller ID, you don't have to remember names or numbers, only faces. -
Talk hands-free.
Use the included headset or speakerphone feature to talk and listen hands-free. Or add a wireless headset, sold separately, for both a hands-free and wire-free experience. You can also access your calendar, Office documents, and other applications while you talk. -
Ignore a call with SMS.2

If someone calls when you're busy, send the call to voicemail and automatically respond with a discreet SMS2. -
Make a conference call.
Conduct a meeting or have a conversation with friends by joining two calls in a conference session.
