Stay in sync with your office.2
-
Synchronize with Outlook®2.
Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync® with Direct Push Technology2 lets you wirelessly synchronize your smartphone with your company's server to send and receive email, update your calendar, contacts, and tasks, and respond to meeting invitations. So whether you're in a conference room, at a colleague's desk, or even outside the office, you can still stay in touch.- Synchronize your email, including attachments. Your messages are sent through the Microsoft® Exchange Server, and copies are added to the Sent Items folder on the server. Messages you've deleted are moved to the Deleted Items on the server. All other email subfolders can be synchronized, too. So the info on your desktop computer stays as up to date as the info on your smartphone.
- Create a meeting. Set up a meeting on your Palm® Treo™ 750 and wirelessly send meeting invitations to colleagues2. The meeting information and attendees are synchronized with your company's server.
- Accept, tentatively accept, or decline meeting invitations— with or without comments. Meetings you've accepted on your smartphone are automatically added to your calendar and updated on the server. View the meeting location and attendees, right on your device.
- Send and receive email quickly. Replies and forwarded email messages are optimized for quicker distribution over the network. Direct Push Technology2 means that you get access to your key information as it becomes available.
- Access your company's Global Address List. Address messages wirelessly using your company's Global Address List2. Quickly and easily find contact information for colleagues.
- Automatically adjust to time zones. All calendar events time-shift based on the time zone when traveling.
- Synchronize your contacts, calendar, and tasks2. Any updates or changes you make on your smartphone are synchronized with the server so both are in sync.
-
Synchronize at your convenience.
Choose DirectPush, an automated synchronisation schedule, or manually synchronize your device—so you can get what you want, when you want it2. Synchronize just email, just calendar, just contacts, just tasks, or any combination of them. -
Keep information secure3.
Enhanced security features include remote data wipe and device password enforcements such as minimum character length and timeouts. Plus, everything is synchronized via SSL, so important information and email messages are safe and secure. Your company may require additional security measures such as a VPN. Check with your company's system administrator for details.
