Designed with the handheld user in mind, the VersaMail® email client (2.7.1) makes it easy to access and manage your personal and corporate email while on the go. It supports many popular desktop email clients as well as IMAP and Internet POP accounts, and allows you to get and send mail using your wireless connection1 or via a HotSync® operation.

  • Automatic Mail Retrieval and Notification
    Stay on top of your life with automatic retrieval and notification. VersaMail automatically downloads new messages and alerts you based on your instructions.

  • Display Options
    Display options allow you to see messages in one or two lines to view more messages or more detail. Select font size, read/unread colours, sorting options, and fields to display.

  • All Your Email Accounts
    Manage up to 8 email accounts. VersaMail includes setup wizards for Yahoo, and more ??and supports most popular desktop email applications including Microsoft Outlook, Lotus Notes, Eudora and Microsoft Outlook Express. Works with POP, IMAP, APOP, and ESMTP.

  • Smart Addressing
    Smart Addressing shows contact address options as you enter the users name and saves incoming addresses directly into Contacts from within VersaMail.

  • 5-Way Navigator Support
    Use the 5-way navigator to check and read email with only one hand. VersaMail also supports Graffiti簧 and Graffiti 2簧 writing software, most add-on or built-in keyboards and expansion cards.

  • HotSync® Mail
    Bring email to your handheld with a simple touch of the HotSync® button (Windows only). Synchronise with Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Exchange, Lotus Notes, Domino, or Eudora on your PC. Even sync Internet POP or IMAP accounts.

  • Manage Your Inbox
    VersaMail has extensive message management features. Choose to get headers only, set message size limits, auto download attachments, and set filters. Delete messages on handheld, server, or both. Automatically empty trash at preset intervals.

  • Attachments
    It's a snap to download attachments up to 5MB2 in size. View, edit and send Microsoft Word or Excel compatible documents and view and send Microsoft PowerPoint compatible documents using DataViz® Documents To Go 7. View vCard, vCal/iCal, text, and WAV files. Unzip and view supported ZIP files. Tungsten E2 also includes support for viewing pictures and videos, and listening to music.

  • Security
    VersaMail uses strong, 128-bit AES encryption to safeguard your email account passwords. Get and send mail from SSL from ISP's and mail providers.

  • HTML Content Support
    Read simple HTML messages or messages with colours or styles. Tap hyperlinks or any "www" sequence to automatically launch the Blazer® web browser on your Tungsten E2 handheld.

  • Corporate Email Access
    Windows users can synchronise their Outlook/Exchange or Notes/Domino email to their handheld. Access corporate email3 wirelessly using IMAP and a compatible VPN.

VersaMail supports sending and receiving up to 5MB of total attachment data per message. Because VersaMail uses base 64-encoding when sending attachments, total raw attachment size supported will vary.
