Email on the go with the VersaMail 3.1 email client.

Email on the go1 with the VersaMail® 3.1 email client.

Stay in touch from anywhere you can connect to the Internet1. Manage popular personal email, like Gmail and Yahoo!, and your corporate email. Download Word, Excel, and PowerPoint document attachments. Email photos, videos2, and other files on the go.
  • Your email on your schedule.
Have business and personal email automatically downloaded to your handheld based on a schedule you specify, and get new mail alerts based on your preferences via Auto Sync and Wi-Fi or Bluetooth® wireless support1 built in to your handheld. The VersaMail email client supports up to eight email accounts—including Yahoo!, and Gmail, and also supports Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync®3.

  • Download and send email attachments.
Download and open attachments up to 5MB4 in size. Send and receive photos and music2. View, edit and send Microsoft Word-, Excel- or PowerPoint-compatible documents5 using DataViz® Documents To Go 7. View and send vCard, vCal/iCal, and text files. Have downloaded attachments automatically saved to your handheld, or save them to or an expansion card6. Attach files on your handheld or on an expansion card to outgoing messages.

  • View HTML content.
Read simple HTML messages or messages with colours or styles. Tap hyperlinks or any "www" sequence to automatically launch your handheld's Blazer® web browser1.

  • Synchronise your email.
In addition to the wireless email capabilities in the VersaMail email client, Windows users can synchronise accounts with desktop-based email applications like Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and Lotus Notes.

  • Keep it secure.
The VersaMail email client uses strong, 128-bit AES encryption to safeguard your email account passwords. Get and send mail from SSL from ISP's and mail providers.

  • Manage your inbox.
Extensive message management features allow you to set message size limits, auto download attachments, and set filters. Delete messages on handheld, server, or both. Automatically empty the trash at preset intervals. Move email messages to folders. And read messages offline when you're not connected.

  • Enjoy easy set-up.
Setup wizards on the device include settings for many common email services like Yahoo! and AOL. The desktop email account set-up wizard makes it easy for Windows users to transfer account details from Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Eudora, and Lotus Notes.

  • Access corporate email.
If your corporate mail system uses Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, you may be able to set up an account that uses Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync3 to wirelessly sync email and calendar info with your handheld. Some users can access their business email using POP or IMAP and a compatible Virtual Private Network (VPN) client.

  • Choose from multiple display options.
Choose to get message subjects only (so that you can decide if you want to download the entire message) or full messages. Choose the font size, read/unread colours, sorting options, and fields to display. Use landscape mode to see more of the message on a single screen.

  • Enter addresses using Smart Addressing.
Smart Addressing shows contact address options as you enter the user's name. You can also add an email address to your built-in Contacts application directly from the body of a received email message.

  • Highlight important messages.
View and send email with high, normal, and low priority.

  • Attach a personal signature.
Add a personal signature along with info like your company's address and phone number to the bottom of your messages.
