    When you exchange more than one message with a single contact, the messages are displayed in a threaded, chat-style view so you can easily keep track of who said what to whom. You can even carry on multiple chats at the same time.2

    Shoot a picture or video3 with the built-in camera/camcorder and immediately attach it to your message. Add a voice memo you recorded on the smartphone. With the intuitive interface, adding media is a snap.

  • Type with ease.
    Type your message using the built-in keyboard. To save time, select QuickText to insert predefined phrases such as as “call me,” or “on my way.” Use the 5-way navigator to select messaging recipients from a list of recent addresses. Or just type the first few letters of any contact and the address will fill itself in.

  • Show some emoticon. Or just get to the point.
    To add a special touch to your message, insert smiley faces using the emoticons symbol.

  • Respond to messages and calls immediately2.
    After receiving a message alert, you can tap the green Talk button to call the person who sent it. Or, you can reply with a text message, even when you're on the phone.
