The Education Purchase Program gives schools a way to extend their technology budget and to enable equity by offering additional free units for various levels of institutional purchases. The program is designed to assist schools in deploying Palm handhelds for each educator and student in a classroom, in a larger school project and in campus-wide initiatives. It is open to all public and private K-12 schools, colleges and universities in the United States. Offer valid on all current Palm Z22, TX and Tungsten handhelds, and Treo smartphones.


How to claim your additional handhelds.

  1. Purchase 30 or more Palm devices from an approved Palm Education Solution Partner or Palm Authorized Reseller.
  2. Download and print a claim form.
  3. Fax your completed claim form and a copy of your purchase invoice or receipt to (408) 617-0117. Within 4-6 weeks the free devices will be shipped directly from Palm, Inc.

Terms and Conditions

  1. Purchased and award units are to be used in the US for education purposes. Approved purchasers include public or private educational institutions--preschool, K-12, higher education, and/or vocational-both for profit and non-profit.
  2. Purchases must be made through an approved Palm Education Solution Partner or Authorized Reseller.
  3. There is no limit to the number of units purchased. Free devices will be awarded for every 30, 100, and 500 increment purchase. No pro-rated awards will be offered.
  4. All purchased units must be the same model. Award units will be the same model as purchased units.
  5. One invoice/sales receipt allowed per claim. Multiple orders cannot be combined to meet the volume purchase requirement.
  6. Award units will be shipped directly from Palm. Palm, Inc. will ship to one location for each claim request.
  7. Award units cannot be exchanged for cash, products, or services.
  8. Award units are not eligible for resale.
  9. Award units are subject to availability. Should the award unit no longer be available, Palm reserves the right to substitute with a comparable unit.
  10. Incomplete claim forms will not be processed. Claims must include dated sales receipt or invoice.
  11. Palm, Inc. is not responsible for lost or misdirected claims.
    12. Palm reserves the right to audit all claims.
  12. Palm reserves the right to terminate the program at any time.
  13. The terms of this program are non-negotiable,
  14. Cannot be combined with any other discount or promotional offer,
  15. Purchased units may not be refurbished or open box units and must be on Palm's then-current price list.
  16. Valid in the US only, void where prohibited.
  17. Resellers are not eligible to participate.
  18. Palm reserves the right to remove models from the Palm Education Purchase Program.
  19. Claims will only be accepted 60 days after invoice date.
