Packaging
Palm is working on more thoughtful packaging design. Our goal is to reduce our packaging footprint which means:
- Minimizing the use of material and reducing waste
- Eliminating toxics in materials and processes
- Designing for reuse and recycling
As a result, our new device packaging has the following environmental attributes:
- 30-40% packaging volume reduced from original box
- 95% of the paper components are elemental chlorine free (ECF)
- 90% of the ink used are agri-based
- packaging is PVC free
