Katie Mitic

Katie is responsible for ensuring Palm's leadership in product and go-to-market excellence, overseeing product management, developer marketing, carrier relationships and business development.

Katie brings to Palm deep marketing and product expertise developed in a number of executive roles, including leading some of Yahoo's most popular global businesses, such as Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! Personals and Yahoo! Small Business. Katie has also held leadership positions in a number of venture-funded startups, including NetDyanmics (acquired by Sun Microsystems) and Four11/Rocketmail (acquired by Yahoo!). She co-founded and served as chief executive officer of Desktop.com, a pioneer in the creation of web-based development platforms for consumer services. Katie has also served as an Executive in Residence at both Elevation Partners and Kleiner, Perkins, Caufield & Byers. She began her career in the Mergers & Acquisitions group at Credit Suisse First Boston.

She holds a bachelor's degree from Stanford University and a master's degree in business administration from Harvard Business School.
