Palm Offers Slam Dunk for Hoops Fans: ESPN.com's Wireless Tournament Challenge

have a new opportunity to track their favorite teams any time as
Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM) and ESPN.com today introduce the Wireless
Tournament Challenge for Palm(TM) VII series handheld computers and other
wireless-enabled Palm handhelds. Palm has developed a new web clipping
application for wireless Palm handheld users to play ESPN.com's Wireless
Tournament Challenge, in which fans pick the winners of each game throughout
the upcoming NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament to win cash and
prizes. ESPN.com is part of the Walt Disney Internet Group (NYSE: DIG).
How to Enter
Sports fans can register any time before March 15 for the Wireless
Tournament Challenge. To enter and track the contest using a Palm handheld,
fans simply download the web clipping application for free at
http://games.espn.go.com/tcmen/01/wireless.html and follow the instructions.
Contest entrants may then begin making their picks on their wireless-enabled
Palm handhelds. All entrants must have their picks completed by Thursday,
March 15, when the tournament begins.

Prizes
The Wireless Tournament Challenge grand prize winner will receive a check
for $1,000. Fifteen overall first place winners of the ESPN.com Wireless
Tournament Challenge online game will receive Palm VIIx handhelds.
Participants of the wireless game are automatically entered in the overall
Tournament Challenge game and are eligible to win the $10,000 prize awarded to
the entry that accumulates the highest score from among all eligible online
and wireless entries.
