It's Lights, Camera, Action for Palm at Europe's Leading Film Festival

SANTA CLARA, Calif., April 4 /PRNewswire/ -- Palm, Inc. (Nasdaq: PALM), a
leading provider of handheld computers, today announced that for the third
consecutive year it will have a starring role at the Cannes Film Festival. Palm will be providing those attending the Cannes Market with extensive
up-to-the-minute information at the festival, delivered directly to their
Palm(TM) handheld computers via customized download stations tailor-made for
the Cannes event. Palm also will be showcasing an exclusive software suite CD,
comprising a wide range of applications serving the entertainment community
that will allow artists and producers to be more efficient using their Palm
handhelds. "Cannes is certainly one of the world's most spectacular and influential
film events, and we are delighted to be providing essential show information
to those that attend," said Satjiv Chahil, chief marketing officer for Palm,

Institute (AFI) that will help to guide AFI's development of entertainment
