ORLANDO, Fla., Jan. 22 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- palmOne, Inc. Education Essentials is developed specifically for the Palm OS(R) platform and includes a collection of organization, productivity, learning and teaching applications for educators and students. The companies made the announcement on the opening day of the Florida Educational Technology Conference (FETC) that runs through Saturday here at the Orange County Convention Center.
Available in mid-February, the palmOne(TM) Education Essentials CD includes more than $249 of commercial software for only $49.99 (estimated U.S. street price) through Handmark at www.handmark.com, www.mobileducator.com or www.mobilescholar.com, and through Handmark retail distribution and other web-based outlets.
