Texas Educators Get First Look at Palm Treo 700w Smartphone and New Wireless, Curriculum and Administrative Solutions
AUSTIN, Texas--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Feb. 7, 2006--Thousands of
educators will get their first look at the new Windows Mobile(R) based
Palm(R) Treo(TM) 700w smartphone and new wireless, curriculum and
administrative solutions at the Texas Education Computer Association's
(TCEA) annual conference Wednesday through Friday at the Austin
Convention Center. TCEA attracts principals, superintendents,
teachers, and technology and curriculum specialists from Texas and
across the nation.
The Treo 700w will take center stage in Palm's booth, No. 2037,
while other Palm Solution Providers show solutions ranging from new
printing software for the Treo 700w from Bachmann Software to the
latest formative reading assessment tools from Wireless Generation.
Treo 700w Smartphone
For educators who want the latest all-in-one mobile communications
and productivity solution, the Treo 700w is the first Treo smartphone
to take advantage of Verizon Wireless' BroadbandAccess service on its
EV-DO network. The Treo 700w also is the first Treo smartphone to run
the Microsoft Windows Mobile operating system, bringing the hallmark
Palm ease of use to Windows Mobile for the first time. It combines a
