    Whether you're in a conference room, at a colleague's desk or outside the office, you can still stay in touch. Microsoft® Exchange ActiveSync® lets you wirelessly synchronize your Palm® Treo™ 680 smartphone with your company's server to send and receive email, update your calendar and contacts, and respond to meeting invitations.3

  • Synchronize with VersaMail®, Calendar, and Contacts.3
    Exchange ActiveSync works with the VersaMail® 3.5 email client and Calendar and Contacts organizer software built in to the Treo 680.

    • Synchronize your Inbox, including attachments.

      Your messages are sent through the Exchange server, and copies are added to the Sent Items folder on the server. Messages you've deleted are moved to Deleted Items on the server, so the Inbox on your desktop computer stays as up to date as the one on your Treo smartphone.

    • Accept, tentatively accept, or decline meeting invitations—with or without comments.

      Meetings you've accepted on your smartphone are automatically added to your calendar and updated on the server. View the meeting location and attendees, right on your Treo.

    • Send and receive email quickly.

      Replies and forwarded email messages are optimized for quicker distribution over the network.

    • Automatically adjust to time zones.

      All calendar events time-shift based on the time zone you set for your Treo.

    • Synchronize your contact list.

      Any updates you make on your Treo will be synchronized with the server.

  • Synchronize at your convenience.
    Choose an automated synchronization schedule that fits your schedule—or manually synchronize your device. Either way you can get what you want, when you want it. Choose to synchronize just email, just calendar, just contacts, or synchronize all of them.


  • Keep information secure.4
    You'll rest easy knowing your information and your email are synchronized via SSL. (That's tech speak for safe and secure.) Your company may require additional security measures like a VPN, so be sure to check with your company's system administrator for details.
