  • See who's calling with a picture.
Add a caller ID photo to a contact so you'll know who's calling at a glance. Use the built-in camera2 to take the photo or assign an existing photo to a contact. You can also use a photo as wallpaper for the main view in the phone application.

  • Control the volume.
Silence the ringer using the ringer switch or the volume button. Adjust the call volume when a call is in progress. When you don't want to be heard, use the onscreen mute button in the active call screen to turn off the microphone.

  • Talk hands-free and multi-task too.
Use the included headset or speakerphone feature to talk and listen hands-free. You can also access your calendar, documents, and other applications while you talk. Switch to the phone application easily-just press the phone key.

  • Choose a ringtone.
Set different tones for different types of incoming phone calls. Assign ringtones to known callers, unknown callers, and new voicemails. You can even record sounds and use them as ringtones. Or download compatible ringtones directly to your phone from your favorite ringtone website.

  • Send a text message when you're busy.
If someone calls when you're busy, send the call to voicemail and respond with a discreet SMS.3 You can also send a text message after you miss a call by selecting the onscreen Send Text button in the missed call alert.

  • Keep track of your calls.
Select Call Log to view a chronological list of calls. Dial a number from that list by simply pressing the send key.

  • Save a phone number.
After you end a call (with caller ID) that's not in your Contacts list, you can choose to save that number to an existing contact in your Contacts list or create a new contact with that phone number. If you don't save it right away, you can save it later by adding it from your Call Log.

  • Talk without wires.
Using built-in Bluetooth® wireless technology, you can connect the Treo™ 700p smartphone to a Bluetooth-enabled headset4 or car kit4 without cords or cables. Using this connection, you can manage5 all your calls wirelessly—without the inconvenience of tangled headset wires or cords.

  • Make a conference call.6
Join two calls in a three-way conference call on the Treo 700p smartphone.
