BlackBerry Connect™ for Treo smartphones lets you access your BlackBerry email1—as well as other key BlackBerry features2—via your company's BlackBerry Enterprise Server™.

    BlackBerry Connect for the Treo smartphone supports the following features:
    • Push Corporate Email delivers messages automatically—and wirelessly—to your Treo smartphone VersaMail® inbox. Changes to your inbox, including read/unread status, and deletion are automatically synchronized between your PC and your smartphone.
    • Wireless Calendar Synchronization keeps your built-in Palm Calendar up to date when you're away from your PC. You can receive and accept—or decline—meeting requests on the go.
    • Remote Address Lookup (RAL) allows you to search your entire corporate directory for email addresses without having to download them to your smartphone.
    • Attachment Viewing lets you view Excel®, Word, PowerPoint®, or PDF documents while you're on the road3.
    • Email Filter Setting with BlackBerry desktop software helps ensure that only the email you need to see gets sent to your smartphone.

  • It also allows your IT department to leverage their existing BlackBerry environment, extending the benefits of BlackBerry Enterprise Server™—centralized management, security, and IT policies—to Treo smartphones:
    • Centralized Device Management allows your IT department to manage all Treo smartphones through your company's installed BlackBerry Enterprise Server™.
    • Security brings end-to-end Triple DES encryption inherent to the BlackBerry Enterprise Server™ to Treo smartphones.
    • IT Policies support the most widely-used IT policies:
      • Kill device
      • Set password and lock
      • Set owner information
