Get your email as it happens.. photo of Treo smartphones with Exchange ActiveSync

Keep your mobile work force in touch and productive with wireless access to corporate Outlook® email. The Exchange ActiveSync® Update for Treo smartphones running Palm OS® software delivers email messages plus Contacts and Calendar updates as they arrive—thanks to Microsoft's Direct Push Technology1,2. The update also adds mobile Global Address Look-up (GAL) and new IT policies including password enforcement and local or remote data wipe. It's a great way to enable up-to-date email on the smartphone users know and love.

Extend your Exchange infrastructure

Deliver secure email to Palm® Treo™ smartphones directly from your Microsoft Exchange Server1, no additional wireless server required. This cost-effective approach extends your Exchange environment as well as your IT staff knowledge and management capabilities while reducing training and management costs. If you've been waiting to add mobile email, there's no easier way.

Easy, over-the-air deployment

The update works for Treo smartphones running Palm OS software in your fleet2. It's a free over-the-air plug-in to the VersaMail® application that users can install directly onto their smartphones.

Reliable security for smartphone data

Leverage the security and management policies of your Exchange Server1 to protect on-device data. Use remote device wipe to delete all data from a lost or stolen smartphone. Enforce password policies including password length, strength (alpha, numeric, both) and the frequency of password change. Set up local data wipe after a specified number of failed password attempts.

Users prefer Palm

Treo smartphones2 running Palm OS software combine phone, wireless email, messaging, web, and mobile office capabilities with the ease and simplicity you can only get from Palm. With Direct Push Technology, your users can stay on top of their email and schedule, and even use Global Address Lookup wirelessly to address an email just by typing a few letters1.
