Who is it for?
You can upgrade if you are running Palm OS® version 3.0 or higher on one of the following handhelds:
- Palm V™ organizer
- Palm IIIx™ organizer
- Palm III™ organizer
- WorkPad® c3 (40X, 40U), 30X, and 20X
- Handhelds with a Palm™ 2MB upgrade card:
- Pilot 1000/5000
- PalmPilot™ Personal & Professional organizers
- WorkPad® 10U
Installation Instructions for the Palm OS Software 3.3 Upgrade
- Download the Palm OS Software 3.3 Upgrade
- After downloading the file above, close your web browser.
- Be sure your HotSync® cradle or cable is connected to your computer, and be sure the HotSync® Manager on
your computer is running.
- Place your handheld in the cradle or attach it to the cable.
- Go to the folder where you downloaded the file above.
- If you are using a Windows PC, double-click on the file to extract its contents. If you are using a Macintosh, you will need to
use Aladdin Stuffit Expander to translate and expand its contents.
- Double-click the extracted/expanded file and follow the onscreen instructions to continue with the upgrade.
