HotSync® Manager Update 4.1 for Windows

Posted January 15, 2004
HotSync Manager Update 4.1 is a Windows-only update for the Palm Desktop that shipped with the Fall 2003 products - Zire 21, Tungsten E, and Tungsten T3.
This update is provided to fix a minor bug reported by 3rd party conduit developers regarding an API for registering Notifier DLLs. To an end user, this may show up as a notice in the HotSync log that one of your conduits has failed.
The update will upgrade the HotSync Manager application from version 4.0 to version 4.1 via an installer. Upon execution, the installer will detect the HotSync Manager version and running state, shut down any dependent applications, install the new version, and restart the HotSync Manager in the system tray.
System Requirements
The HotSync Manager Update 4.1 is intended for Windows Palm Desktop and HotSync Manager installations shipped with Zire 21, Tungsten E, and Tungsten T3 handhelds only. This update is not required for use with previous Palm Desktop installations nor for any Macintosh platform.
