Daylight Saving Time Updates

The dates for Daylight Saving Time (DST) changed in 2007. Are you updated?

Install this software to display times correctly on your Palm device

New Daylight Saving Time Changes
Beginning in 2007, Daylight Saving Time begins on the second Sunday in March, and changes back to standard time on the first Sunday in November. This is a change from the start/end date that is built into older Palm devices.

Update your device to reflect the correct time when the DST rules take effect. Without the Daylight Saving Time Update, calendar events and email messages may indicate an hour off the actual time in locations that observe DST.

Time zone associated calendar events depend on the correct DST rule on the device and all users should apply this update. Third-party applications may also depend on the correct DST rule on the device.

Outside the United States?
Users in all other countries should download and install this update. Meetings that are scheduled or received with participants in the United States may require the update to ensure that calendar events display properly. Also, when traveling in the United States, this update should be installed to ensure the proper DST rules are set on the device.
