Updates are now available to make the Palm® GPS Navigator smartphone edition with TomTom Navigator 6 software compatible with the Treo™ 680 and 750.

These updates are intended for the Palm GPS Navigator smartphone edition (3263NA) and are compatible with the TomTom Navigator 6 software only. These updates will not work with the Navigator 5 version of the software. If you are running Navigator 5 software (how to tell), DO NOT install this software.

Note; Use of the TomTom Navigator software requires an activation code to enable use of the software. If you have previously activated your Nav 6 product the product, TomTom Navigator software allows for the generation of an additional activation code. However, in the event that your phone is replaced for any reason, activation of the software on the new phone may not be possible.

• Palm Treo 680 or 750
• Current SD/MMC card with TomTom software and map
• SD/MMC Card reader

1. Download TomTomNAV6_680Update.zip (3.5 MB WinZip compressed file)
2. Extract files using a standard decompression utility
3. Plug card reader into computer.
4. Insert memory card containing the TomTom software into the card reader.
5. Open the folder just created that contains:
   • Start.prc
   • Data.chk
   • Munich.bin
6. Copy Start.prc into the /palm/ folder on the card
7. Copy Data.chk and Munich.bin into the /TomTom/ folder on the card
8. When the process is complete, Eject the card.

1. Download TomTomNAV6_750update.zip (7.3 MB WinZip compressed file)
2. Extract files using a standard decompression utility
3. Plug card reader into computer.
4. Insert memory card containing the TomTom software into the card reader.
5. Open the folder just created that contains:
   • autorun.inf
   • Start.exe
   • tomtom.ico
   • 2577 folder
6. Copy the files autorun.inf, Start.exe, and tomtom.ico and the 2577 folder to the root of the card.
7. When the process is complete, Eject the card.

These files and folders will be replacing files and folders already existing on the card. When asked to Confirm File replace, select Yes To All.

If you are currently using the Palm GPS Navigator with TomTom Navigator 6 software on a Treo 650, 700p, 700w or 700wx you do not need this software update.
