1. You place an outgoing call.
2. Before the call is answered, you cancel the call.
3. You return to phone view, but you continue to hear a ringing tone until you place another call that is answered, or you turn wireless mode off.

1. Open the Applications launcher.
2. Tap on the Prefs icon.
3. From the pulldown menu in the upper right corner of the screen, select Ringer.

1. Perform a HotSync operation. Make sure all your conduits are set to "Synchronize the files". All your data and applications will be erased from Treo during the update, and you can restore them with a HotSync operation.
2. Download one of the following:
   • Windows ZIP File: Treo180ContRingPatch.zip (1.1 MB)
     -OR-
   • Windows ZIP File: Treo180ContRingPatch.exe (1.3 MB)
     -OR-
   • Macintosh SIT File: Treo180ContRingPatch.sit (261 KB)
3. If you downloaded the .zip or .sit file, decompress the file using a standard decompression utility.
4. Double-click Treo180ContRingPatch.exe (Windows) or Treo180ContRingPatch.sit (Macintosh) file on your desktop computer.
5. Follow the on-screen instructions. Don't forget to perform a HotSync operation at the end of the installation process.
