Do you need this update? On your Treo 700p, press Phone Press Menu From the Options menu, select Phone Info. Look for the Software: item: If the version number is lower than 1.10 and the end of the string says SPNT, you should install this update. If you see anything else, do not install this update.

Install this software if your Palm Treo 700p is on the Sprint network. The update will not work on any other Treo smartphones. Plug your smartphone into a power outlet and keep it plugged in throughout the update. 1 - Do not use a miniSD or microSD expansion card with an SD adapter. Palm has identified that the most reliable method is to use a full-sized SD card between 64MB and 2GB. Using a miniSD or microSD expansion card with an adapter can cause issues with the update.
