The Palm™ Bluetooth™ Card software for the Palm Tungsten™ W will allow the use of the Palm Bluetooth SDIO Card with the Palm Tungsten W handheld.

The Palm Bluetooth Card software for the Palm Tungsten W incorporates Bluetooth functionality which will:

• Allow the Palm Tungsten W to connect to Bluetooth LAN Access Points
• Allow the Palm Tungsten W to connect to other Bluetooth enabled palmOne handhelds
• Allow the Palm Tungsten W to connect to other Bluetooth enabled devices.

These files are replacement files for the Palm Bluetooth Card software included in the Palm Bluetooth Card packaging. Software included with the Palm Bluetooth Card is not compatible with the Palm Tungsten W and should not be installed. If you have already installed the software included with the Palm Bluetooth Card, it must be removed from the handheld.

Palm Phone Link application software is not compatible with Palm Bluetooth Card software for the Tungsten W.

1. Extract the files using a standard unzip utility. Note the location of the directory/folder the file is extracted to.
2. Launch Palm Desktop. Select the Install Tool icon.
3. Select the correct user name from the User list.
4. Click on "Add" and browse to the folder where you extracted the files in the previous steps.
5. Select the folder " TungstenW_BT " and select all the files. Click "Open".
6. Select "Done" on the Installer tool.
7. Place the corresponding handheld in the cradle and press the HotSync button on the cradle.

1. Your web browser should decode the file and you will see the appropriate .sit file appear on the desktop (or in your default download folder). If your web browser does not decode the file automatically, you will need to use a decoding utility (such as Aladdin Stuffit Expander) in order to decode the .sit file.
2. Launch the Palm Desktop Organizer Software.
3. From the HotSync menu, select Install Handheld Files
4. Select the user name you would like to install the files to.
5. Select Add to List. Locate the TungstenW_BT folder and double-click it.
6. Select the first file in the list and click on "Add File."
7. Repeat steps 5 and 6 for each file in the TungstenW_BT folder, until all files have been added.
8. Quit HotSync Manager. Place the corresponding handheld in the cradle and press the HotSync button on the cradle.
