SMS Patch
For Verizon Treo 700wx and Treo 700w
Palm has released a Treo SMS Patch available for Verizon devices which will clear corrupted or unsupported messages from the device, allowing new SMS messages to be received.
While installed, this patch will continue to monitor and remove any corrupted or unsupported SMS messages from the device.
System Requirements
- Verizon Treo 700wx or Treo 700w smartphone. If you are not a Verizon Wireless customer, or do not have one of these devices, do not install this software.
- You understand and agree that by downloading or otherwise installing this update, you agree to be bound by the terms and conditions available at Palm End User License Agreement.
Download & install
- Tap the download button below and installation will begin.
- When the download window appears: Ensure that the checkbox "Open file after download" is selected.
- Tap on Yes.
- The patch will begin installing immediately after the download is complete.
- After the installer finishes, it will prompt you to reset your device. Select OK and reset your smartphone to complete the installation.
Note: Once the device resets and reconnects to the network, you may receive one or more backlogged SMS messages. Allow your device a few minutes to receive any pending messages.
