• Improvements to help eliminate the silent failure of email when using Microsoft's Direct Push Technology via Exchange ActiveSync in VersaMail. Some users have reported that their email stops arriving, but they are not notified to press 'Sync' to re-enable Direct Push Technology. This update helps eliminate the occurrence of this scenario.

If you do not use Microsoft EAS or Gmail IMAP for email, you do not need to download this new version of VersaMail.

Please note this update is for Centro users only, and installation on other Palm smartphones may cause email to stop working properly.

Important Note: This update is designed to install directly to your Centro Over the Air (OTA). You should NOT download this update to your computer and HotSync to your Centro. Instead follow the OTA instructions below on your Centro.

When you click on the download link (below), installation will begin. But first, read these instructions and make sure you understand them.

1. Click the download link below. You will see a Download Warning message, tap Yes to continue.
2. When asked where to "Save to:" select Device, then select Yes. On the Download screen, select Save and open and the download will begin.
3. When the download completes, you will see a message to accept the download in Applications, select Yes.
4. On the next screen, select Install Email and then select the "Update Now" button on the screen and accept the licensing agreement.
5. Install will begin. After the installer finishes, it will prompt you to reset your device. Select OK to reset your smartphone and complete the installation.
